Patrick (dancer, musician, cameraman and cabaret artist), born in Hamburg. The big specific feature of Patrick is, his hearing loss is bigger than the hearing loss of most deaf.
But it is not still classified as deaf because he can speak. He can speak so well that hearing people cannot think that he is really deaf. Maybe Patrick has the big luck that he is very gifted for the speech and music.
With his talent Patrick is automatically between two worlds, the hearing and deaf world.
He is born thus to an eccentric, he never belongs so properly to one or other world.
Patrick still understands his talent as a job.
Patrick’s aim is to show to both worlds how the world is between the hearing and deaf world. Patrick gets on as an ambassador between both worlds.
With his projects he wants to bring both worlds closer.
The current Project “SOPOS” (Sense Our Possibilities) was startet in April 2009 in Vancouver BC. At 20th Nov. 2010 and 3rd Dec 2010 were concerts with the message and philosophy “Open Minded” in Germany. The plan now is to continue the series of concerts in Austria, Netherland, Belgium, France and United Kingdom.
